Did you hear? France reopens its frontiers on June 9th for international tourists with a health pass. It is perfect timing to spend your summer vacation in France ! Here is a list of places to enjoy an amazing summer in France.

The French Basque County

It is definitely one of my favorite region! If you hesitate between a green, peaceful countryside and the ocean, then this region might be perfect for you. Located near the wild and turquoise ocean, the region also offers beautiful countryside landscapes with lakes, green meadows with cows and sheeps, and charming quiet villages. Local people are very proud of their culture and they have all rights to be! Traditions, festivals, gastronomy, pelote basque (the local sport) ...makes this wonderful region a lively place to spend the summer and enjoy life delights.

To visit and do: Biarritz seaside walk is a must, the charming countryside village of Ainhoa, Saint-Jean-de-Luz resort, Bayonne, Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle lake... You might also want to explore the Spanish basque region and spend one day in beautiful San Sebastian. Don't forget to try Jambon de Bayonne (the local ham), piment d'Espelette and the local cheeses.
