1. Explore Dinan's medieval town

10. Taste Cancale's oysters

Cancale is a small picturesque village with a beautiful seaside famous for its oysters. The town is considered as the “oyster capital” in Brittany. Cancale’s oyster popularity goes back to Roman times when they were eaten by Julius Caesar’s legions. Later, Louis XIV had them expressly delivered from this town every day. You may want to taste them with a glass of white wine or visit an oyster farm if you are simply curious about its production.



11. Visit Quimper, the cultural heart of Brittany

Quimper is the administrative capital of the Finistère department. With its beautiful cathedral, its lively old quarter and its museums displaying the history and traditions of the region, Quimper is recognized as Brittany's cultural center.
